Born May 5, 2015 at Shadetree Kennels in Martinsville, VA. Shadetree Kennels is owned by Cathy and Paul Cooper. Cathy, a past President of the Greater Swiss Mountain Dog Club of America, has been breeding and showing Swissies for over 30 years. Judi is the third Swissy we have acquired from Shadetree – Indi was our first and Jethro our second.
Judi's dam and sire are Tara, CH. Shadetree's Keeper Of The Stars, and Todd, CH. Sennenhund Rossii International Sensation, respectively.
Dori was so impressed with the quality of the puppies from our Elphie and Cathy Cooper's Todd litter that she vowed she wouldn't pass up another of Todd's puppies if the chance ever came back up. So when Cathy told us she had puppies from Todd and Tara, we jumped at the chance. Thus far, Judi has been everything we could have hoped for and more.
She is an impressive combination of temperament and beauty. She gets along with anyone, human and canine alike, and seemlessly integrated herself with the Likevich pack.
Performance-wise she is already showing promise in obedience, agility, and drafting, where her calm, yet upbeat personality make her a joy to work with and elicit praise from her instructors.
We are thankful everyday that Judi is a member of our canine family.
